What to do if the message “The Number of Authorized Installations has been Exceeded” appears when trying to register your software.
When attempting to register Revu, the following error message displays:
The Number of Authorized Installations has been Exceeded.
This means the serial number and product key are correct for the installed version and edition of software, but the number of registrations allowed by the license has been reached. You’ll need to release a license by uninstalling Bluebeam from another computer to free a seat, or contact License & Registration for further assistance.
This registration error can also be caused by the following:
- If your Revu license has recently been upgraded, but you’re trying to register the old version. In this case, look for a more recent License Certificate that was sent from firstname.lastname@example.org, or contact your administrator.
- If your previous computer has crashed and you’re trying to install and register Revu on another computer. Follow the instructions in My Computer Crashed and I Need to Reinstall Revu.
