Team Management in Bluebeam Cloud

If you have the Admin permissions for a project in Bluebeam Cloud, you can create and manage teams in Bluebeam Cloud to help you:

  • Organize your projects by company, team, or department.
  • Save time by adding users to teams while inviting team members to the project.
  • Easily assign punch items to teams instead of to individual project participants.
  • Track punch items by teams using the “Team” filter.

Create a team

  1. Select Settings in the sidebar.
  2. Select Teams.
  3. Select Create Team.
  4. Enter the name of the new team.
  5. Select Create. Each team must have a unique name within a project. 

Add existing users to a team

There are two ways to add existing users to a team.

  • Via the Users page:
    1. Select Settings in the sidebar.
    2. Select Users.
    3. Select the user you want to add to the team, or hold Shift and click multiple users to add to the team..
    4. Select Edit.
    5. Use the Team dropdown to choose the team(s) to assign to the user(s).
    6. Select Save.
  • Via the Teams page:
    1. Select Settings in the sidebar.
    2. Select Teams.
    3. Choose a team you want to assign to the user(s), select the menu icon, and click Manage Users.
    4. Use the Manage Users dropdown to select the users you want to assign to the team.
    5. Select Save.
Users can belong to multiple teams.

Add invitees to teams

You can save time by assigning users to teams during the invite process:

  1. Select Settings in the sidebar.
  2. Select Users.
  3. Select Invite.
  4. Enter the users’ email addresses and select the permission level(s).
  5. Use the Team dropdown to choose the team(s) you want to assign to the user.

Assign punch items to teams

Rather than assigning punch items to individual users, you can assign punch items to teams:

  1. In the Punch sidebar, select the row of a punch item.
  2. Use the Team Assignees dropdown to choose the team you want to assign to the punch item.
  3. Select Save.

Teams you’ve assigned to punch items will appear in the Team column, and the Filter option allows you to filter items by their assigned team.
