Error 105: “An online connection could not be established”


When attempting to register Revu, you see the following error message:

“Error 105. An online connection could not be established. Please select ‘Get Authorization Code Manually’ to get an authorization code using the manual process.”


There may be various causes for this problem. Try the solutions below in the order they are presented.

Check your internet connection

The first thing you should do is check your internet connection. Once connected, try to complete your action again. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, continue to the next solution.

Check your firewall security settings

The Bluebeam licensing server could be blocked by a firewall as part of your IT department’s network security policies. Contact your IT department to confirm that the ports listed below are unblocked for the indicated hosts:

If this doesn’t resolve the issue, continue to the next solution.

Look up your version number

If you have an installation of Revu 2015.5 or 2015.6, you may experience problems as a result of licensing changes. To check your version, go to Revu > About. If you are attempting to register or unregister Revu 2015.6 or 2015.6, please contact us.
