Problem

The buttons for the Bluebeam plugin in AutoCAD®, Revit®, Navisworks®, SketchUp® Pro or SolidWorks® don’t display in the program.

Solution

The plugins for AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and SolidWorks are included in Revu CAD and eXtreme. Revu Standard does not include these plugins, but you can still create PDF files by printing from any of these applications to the Bluebeam PDF printer.

To activate the plugin, first check the Compatibility Chart to see if your version of Revu supports the installed version of your CAD software.  Once confirmed, follow the steps below:

Your CAD software has to be run once using the current Windows account before the Bluebeam plugin will load into it.
  1. Close your CAD software, if it is running.
  2. Open the Bluebeam Administrator :

In Windows 10 and 8.1, click or press Start and type Bluebeam Administrator.

    -Or-

Go to Revu > Administrator  from Revu's Menu Bar.

  3. Click the Plugins tab.
  4. Fill the appropriate check box and click OK.
  5. Restart AutoCAD.

If the AutoCAD check box is already filled:

  1. Open the Bluebeam Administrator :

In Windows 10 and 8.1, click or press Start and type Bluebeam Administrator.

    -Or-

Go to Revu > Administrator  from Revu's Menu Bar.

  2. Clear the check box and click Applydon’t close the Administrator.
  3. Start AutoCAD.  Once it launches, close it immediately.
  4. Return to the Bluebeam Administrator.
  5. Fill the AutoCAD check box and click OK.
  6. Restart AutoCAD.
