Revu hangs, freezes, or causes UI problems on some computers with NVIDIA GeForce video cards.
While we’re still investigating the exact cause, the issue seems to be due to recent graphics-related updates.
Enable Software Rendering
Revu can render documents using Software Rendering and Hardware Rendering. Because Hardware Rendering generally offers better performance, it is enabled by default; however, using Software Rendering resolves the issue.
To enable Software Rendering:
- Go to Revu > Preferences (Ctrl+K).
- Click Advanced in the sidebar.
- In the 2D Rendering tab, in the Rendering Engine drop-down menu, select Software and press OK.
