What is Project Rover?

Project Rover is a construction management solution for small to midsize projects. Accessible on the web or through our iOS app, Rover enables you to create projects and easily manage their workloads and workflows.

Rover is purpose-built for punch, RFI, and submittal management and we’re constantly developing new functionality.

Where is Rover available?

Rover is only available to trial and purchase for customers in the United States at this time.

How much does Rover cost?

A Project Rover subscription costs $300 USD per project, per month. You can sign up for a 14-day trial to effortlessly create and manage punch, RFIs, and submittals on the go.

How can I create or join a project?

To create a project, sign in to Rover with your Bluebeam ID (BBID) and purchase a project. You may invite up to 25 users per project and set a permission level for each user.

To join a project, check your email for an invitation from a project Admin. Open the email and select Join Project. You’ll be prompted to sign in with your BBID or create one.

Can I access Rover on mobile?

Yes. You can use our web app on any supported device, or on an Apple device by installing the iOS app.

Does Rover connect to Bluebeam Studio?

Yes. Studio Projects are automatically connected when you sign in through the Rover web app. A project Admin can share folders and files from a Studio Project directly to Rover.

Do I need to own Revu to view drawings in Rover?

No. You can import drawings from your Studio Projects, but you don’t need to own Revu to view, upload, or publish drawings in Rover.

How do I upload my drawings to Rover?

You can upload any PDF drawing to Rover from a local device, or import PDFs through one of our integrations. Please note, this capability is only supported on the web app at this time.

What integrations are available?

The Rover web app supports the following integrations: Bluebeam Projects, SharePoint, Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, Egnyte.

Can drawings be updated in Rover?

Drawings that were imported to Rover through an integration are not automatically synced. You can manually sync drawings from a connected account by going to Settings > Integrations.

Are there different permission levels for users in a project?

Yes. There are three permission levels in Rover: Admin, Member, and Viewer. Each permission level defines what an individual user can do within a project. A user’s permission level is assigned when they’re invited to a project.

Are photos supported in Rover?

Yes. All common photo file types can be attached to an RFI in Rover.

Can I work offline?

Yes. Offline mode is supported in the Rover iOS App.

Where does Rover store my data?

All user data is safely stored in AWS US.

Can I export my project data?

Yes. Project Admins can export all logs, files, and documents for a project that is currently open or closed. Once a project is deleted, you won’t be able to export or recover its data.

To request your data, open the Rover web app and go to Project Settings.

How can I make a product suggestion?
