Make Revu for Mac your default PDF application

You can set your default PDF app either from Revu preferences, or the Info window of a PDF.

Using the Preferences menu

  1. From the Menu Bar, go to Bluebeam Revu > Preferences (Command-Comma).
  2. Select General from the list on the left and check Use As Default PDF Viewer.
  3. Click OK.

Using the Info window

  1. Locate a PDF on your hard drive and click once to highlight the file name. Don’t open it yet.
  2. Open the Info window by either:
    • Pressing Command-I.
      A list of Revu for Mac keyboard shortcuts is available in the Revu for Mac Help menu and on our website.

      -Or-

    • Secondary-click the file and selecting Get Info.
  3. In the Open with section, select Revu from the dropdown menu.
  4. Select Change All to ensure Revu will open all PDF documents.
  5. Click Continue.
