Problem 

You encounter the following error when creating a BBID or resetting your password:

Error: “There was an error processing your request. Please try again and if the problem persists please contact us at support@bluebeam.com.”

Cause

Due to updated security requirements, your password can’t contain recognizable elements from the username and/or email address provided (see Figure 1).

Solution 

Ensure that your password doesn’t contain elements of the username. For example, creating an account with the email ‘test.experiment@bluebeam.com’ and using the words ‘test’, ‘experiment’, or ‘bluebeam’ as part of your password would cause this issue to occur.
