Problem

You’ve set up a custom column with available choices that are linked to the Subject property of a markup, but the Choice column is empty when you try to make a selection.

Cause

This is usually caused by an extra space at the end of the associated markup’s Subject name, which you can find in the Markup Properties.

Solution

You’ll need to recreate the affected markup.

  1. Place the markup on the PDF.
  2. Open the Properties panel.
  3. In the Subject field, remove the additional space at the end of the markup’s name.
  4. Save this new version of the markup to your Tool Set, and remove the old one.
