Plugins are grayed out in the Bluebeam Administrator

Applies to:

  • Revu 21
  • Revu 20

Problem

In Bluebeam Administrator, plugins are grayed and can't be selected.

Causes

In Revu 21, the use of plugins requires a Core subscription, a Complete subscription, or an active trial of Revu.

In Revu 20, the use of plugins requires a license of Revu CAD, Revu eXtreme, or an active trial of Revu.

Your plugins may be grayed out because:

  • Your computer has applications that are compatible with Revu plugins, such as AutoCAD or Revit, but you have a Read-only or Basics accounr (Revu 21) or the registered license is Revu Standard (Revu 20).
  • Your trial of Revu 21 or Revu 20 has expired.

Solution

Revu 21

Confirm which subscription plan you have access to:

  1. Open Revu 21.
  2. When prompted, sign in with your Bluebeam ID (BBID).
  3. Select your email address next to the Revu icon in the upper right corner to view your account information.

If you have a Read-only or Basics account, reach out to your Org Admin (i.e., license owner and/or IT dept.) to request Core/Complete access. Org Admins can modify subscription access via the Bluebeam Subscription Management Portal. For Core or Complete subscribers experiencing this issue, please contact us.
