Importing a Digital ID

If you have already created a PKCS #12 digital ID and the PFX file is accessible, you can import it into Vu. If not, or if you do not wish to use an existing digital ID in Vu, you can create a new one instead.

ClosedImporting a PKCS #12 Digital ID

  1. Go to File > Signatures > Digital IDs. The Manage Digital IDs dialog box appears.

  2. Click Add Digital ID. The New Digital ID dialog box appears.

  3. Select Browse for existing Digital ID file and click Next. The Open dialog box appears.
  4. Select the desired PFX file and click Open.
  5. If prompted, enter the password and click OK.
