Error: "The license file could not be found ..."

Problem

When attempting to register Revu on a computer with an ARM 64-bit processor (e.g. the Surface Pro X), the following error message appears:

The license file could not be found. Please reinstall the software to fix this problem, or see trouble shooting in the Help files for more information.

Cause

Revu was developed on the Microsoft .NET Framework, which isn't fully supported on ARM processors.

Solution

Currently, Revu is not compatible with computers that use ARM processors. Revu must be installed on a computer with a traditional CPU architecture.
