Preferences

The Preferences dialog box enables customization of Bluebeam Revu settings. This section briefly describes each setting, organized by the section of the preferences dialog box that contains it.

To open the Preferences dialog box:

ClosedExporting and Importing Preferences

Settings may be exported to an XML file so that they can be imported to other workstations within an organization. To develop a standard set of preferences, first configure one workstation with the desired settings, then:

  1. On the configured workstation, go to Settings > Preferences, or press CTRL+K. The Preferences dialog box appears.
  2. Click Export. The Save As dialog box appears.
  3. Enter a file name and click Save.
  4. To import the settings on another machine, open the Preferences dialog box and click Import, then select the exported file.
