Page Setup

There are three default settings to choose from:

• Native (AutoCAD): Use the plot settings as currently defined in the drawing to generate the output file.
• Custom: Customize the settings for creating the output file. Once you choose this option, the selections on the page will be accessible, so you can customize the settings.
• Global: Define the page settings for all output files that are created. These settings will be saved so they may be reused the next time a PDF is created.
• Manage: Add more Global page settings. Refer to Working with Global Page Setups for more information.

Paper: Select a page size from this drop down list.

Orientation: Choose between Portrait or Landscape orientation.

Fit to page: Automatically fits the PDF within the are of the page.

Zoom: Allows you to define the percentage that the PDF will be scaled to.

Center: Automatically centers the PDF on the page.

Offset from corner: Select No Margin, Printer limitor User Defined. The X/Y values can be defined if User Defined is selected.

Raster quality: Defines the quality of images. Select Low, Medium, Highor Presentation.

Colors: Defines the color output of the PDF. Select from the following:

• Black Lines: Text, colored lines, pattern lines, and edges will print in black. Raster images and solid patterns will print in grayscale.
• Grayscale: Everything is printed in grayscale.
• Color: Colors in the project are maintained.

Remove Lines Using: Defines how hidden lines are processed. Select Vector processing (faster) or Raster Processing.

The checkboxes in this section toggle the following:

• View links in blue: View links print black by default, but you can choose to print them in blue.
• Hide ref/work planes: Hide references and work planes when the PDF is created.
• Hide unreferenced view tags: Hide print section, elevation and callout tags that are not on sheets when the PFD is created.
• Hide scope boxes: Hide scope boxes when the PDF is created.
• Hide crop boundaries: Hide crop boundaries when the PDF is created.
• Replace halftone with thin lines: Replace the halftone drawings with thin lines.
