Forgot your password?
If you’re unable to log in to Bluebeam Studio, Drawings, or the Bluebeam Gateway because you’ve forgotten your password, follow the steps below:
- In Revu, open the Studio panel
(Alt+ C).
- Select your desired Studio server region and then select Sign In.
- Enter your BBID email address and select Next.
- Select Need help signing in? > Forgot your password? at the bottom of the Sign In screen.
5. Re-enter your email address and select Send Reset Instructions.
If the email doesn’t arrive in your inbox, please check your spam or junk email folder, and make sure that do-not-reply@bluebeamops.com is on the approved list of senders.
Your password needs to be between 8 and 32 characters long, with at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one special character, such as !@#$%^&*.
Didn’t receive a password reset email?
When entering your Bluebeam ID and password, you should see the following login screen if you use the correct email address on file:
If you or your password manager fill the field with an email address that’s misspelled or invalid, you’ll see a different login screen:
In this case, double-check that you’ve spelled your email address correctly and/or locate your original Studio account verification email to confirm the correct BBID. If you still can’t remember the email address you used for your BBID, contact Bluebeam Technical Support via email for assistance.
Need to update your BBID email or password?
If you haven’t forgotten your BBID login credentials, and simply want to change the email or password associated with your account, follow the steps below.
Change your BBID email address
If you’d like to change your existing BBID email address, follow these steps:
- Save any work and sign out of all instances of Studio and/or Drawings, including instances on other devices. This will prevent any communication errors from occurring.
- Go to your Studio server account page:
- Enter your BBID email address and select Next.
- Re-enter your email address and select Next. This allows Revu to authenticate your identity for a secure single sign-on.
- Enter your BBID password and select Sign In.
- Under Email, select Change. Enter a new email address and select Save. You’ll receive an email containing a link to validate your new email address.
- Go to your inbox, open the validation email and select Change My Bluebeam ID.
If you didn’t receive an email, check your Spam folder or contact your network administrator to ensure emails from do-not-reply@bluebeamops.com are not being blocked.
- In Revu, log into Studio with your new email address.
Your BBID email address has been updated and can now be used to access Studio, Drawings, and other Bluebeam services.
Change your BBID password
You can update your BBID password at any time from our web portal.
- Save any work and sign out of all instances of Studio and/or Drawings, including instances on other devices. This will prevent any communication errors from occurring.
- Go to your Studio server account page:
- Enter your BBID email address and select Next.
- Re-enter your email address and select Next. This allows Revu to authenticate your identity for a secure single sign-on.
- Enter your current BBID password and select Sign In.
- Under Password, select Change. Enter your current password and then set a new password below.
- Select Save.
Your BBID password has been updated and can now be used to access Studio, Drawings, and other Bluebeam services.

How to reset your Studio password
If you’re unable to log in to Bluebeam Studio using Revu or Vu for Windows because you’ve forgotten your Bluebeam Studio password, you can reset it by following the steps listed below:
- Open the Studio tab
(or Alt+ C).
- Click the Connect
icon.
- Click Lost Password in the login screen.
- Click OK when the Studio Email notification appears, and then follow the steps found in the email that was sent to the address associated with your account.
If the email doesn’t arrive in your inbox, please check your spam or junk email folder, and make sure that do-not-reply@bluebeamops.com is on the approved list of senders.
