Create, mark up, and share PDFs with My Documents

My Documents is a feature in Bluebeam on web that serves as a central location for creating, managing, and organizing your PDFs apart from Studio. Here’s what you can do:

  • File Management: Create, upload, and share your files directly in My Documents.
  • Modern Interface: Work with your documents using a clean and intuitive interface with enhanced features.
  • Measurement Tools: Measure and set scales on your documents for precise work.
  • Collaboration: Share files and collaborate with others more efficiently.

Use My Documents to upload and create PDFs. To add a new file, select Add Document and choose one of the following options:

  • Upload PDF: Adds selected files from your local files to My Documents.
  • Create New PDF: Creates a new PDF from templates or basic properties (e.g. page count, height, width, and orientation).

When you open a PDF in My Documents, select Pages in the lower-left corner to view the thumbnails for all the sheets in your PDF. This panel provides tools for manipulating sheets in your PDF.

To insert pages, hover over the whitespace before or after a thumbnail to select Insert:

  • Insert New Page: Adds a new sheet from templates or basic properties (e.g. page count, height, width, and orientation).
  • Insert Page From: Adds selected files from your local files or imports files from your DMS integrations.

To rotate pages, hover over and select the boxes for the pages you want to rotate and click Rotate Counterclockwise or Rotate Clockwise.

To reorder pages, drag a thumbnail to the desired location. You can also select multiple pages and drag them to the desired location.

To delete pages, select the pages you want to delete and click Delete.

My Documents allows you to collaborate with other users as editors or viewers.

To add a user, select Shared in the upper-right corner; then enter the email addresses of users you want to invite. You can set the permission level before you select Send.

To download a copy of your edited document, select Download.
