Working with Digital Signatures
Revu supports the following:
- Adding digital signature fields to documents
- Creating and validating signatures from self-signed certificates (which is useful for certification that occurs within organizations or among trusted parties)
- Commercially available certificates purchased through trusted third-party Certificate Authorities
Revu validates and signs documents based on the Windows Certificate Store and the PKCS #12 standards. It also supports Adobe CDS signatures. The following sections contain in-depth instructions for the following procedures:

The Signatures Panel contains certification and signature information for any PDF opened that has been certified or digitally signed. Whenever such a PDF is opened, the user is prompted to open this tab and review the information it contains.
