Revu Registration

How to Register Revu® 2018

To register you’ll need your Serial Number and Product Key, which are included in the License Certificate email you received from Bluebeam after purchase. If you’ve lost your License Certificate, please contact License & Registration to request another copy.

Need to install?

Please follow the steps listed below to register Revu 2018.

To access the Registration screen:

From the interface:

  1. Open Revu.
  2. From the Revu menu, click Register.

From the Bluebeam Administrator:

  1. Open the Bluebeam Administrator.
  2. From the Tools menu, click Register.

To complete registration on a computer that is…

  • Connected to the internet:
    1. Enter the Serial NumberProduct Key and computer name. The computer name will assist in tracking multiple licenses at a site.
    2. Click Register. The required information will be communicated back to the Bluebeam server in order to authorize the software. Authorization is complete. (If the authorization does not complete, follow the steps below.)

      During the registration process, Revu communicates with the registration server over the internet. Please make sure the following locations are not blocked by your firewall or proxy server.

      • https://login.microsoftonline.com
      • https://activation.bluebeam.com
  • Connected to the internet but behind a firewall, or the online registration has failed:
    This process doesn’t apply to customers whose Revu installations use our cloud-based Open Licensing system, which requires a reliable internet connection in order to communicate with the registration server. Please contact your local network administrator to get the connection issue resolved.
    1. Enter the Serial Number and Product Key and click Register.
    2. Click Authorization manually, then Continue.
    3. Click the Web button or the hyperlink at the top of the window. A web browser will open and connect to the Software Activation page on bluebeam.com.
    4. Review the information in the browser and click Get Authorization Code. Your authorization code will display on the next page.
    5. Enter the code from the browser into the Manual Authorization window and click Authorize.
  • Not connected to the internet:
    This process doesn’t apply to customers whose Revu installations use our cloud-based Open Licensing system, which requires a reliable internet connection in order to communicate with the registration server. Please contact your local network administrator to get the connection issue resolved.
    1. Enter the Serial Number and Product Key and click Register.
    2. Click Authorization manually, then Continue.
    3. Copy down the Serial Number, Product Key and Security ID.
    4. From a machine with internet access, open a web browser and browse to https://activation.bluebeam.com/.
    5. Type your Serial NumberProduct KeySecurity ID and Computer Name.
    6. Click Get Authorization Code. Your Authorization code will display on the next page.
    7. Copy down the Authorization code and return to the computer where you are installing the software. Type the Authorization code into the Manual Authorization window and click Authorize.

You’re now ready to start using Revu!

    1. Enter the Serial Number and Product Key and click Register.
    2. Click Authorization manually, then Continue.

    7. Copy down the Authorization code and return to the computer where you are installing the software. Type the Authorization code into the Manual Authorization window and click Authorize.

To access the Registration screen:

  1. Open Revu.
  2. From the Menu Bar, click Register.

To complete registration on a computer that is…

  • Connected to the internet:
    1. Enter the Serial NumberProduct Key and click Register.

      During the registration process, Revu communicates with the registration server over the internet. Please make sure the following locations are not blocked by your firewall or proxy server.

      • https://login.microsoftonline.com
      • https://activation.bluebeam.com
    2. The Finish Registration dialog will open once the process has completed. Click OK.
    3. When the License Agreement opens, click Accept.
  • Behind a firewall or not connected to the internet:
    This process doesn’t apply to customers whose Revu installations use our cloud-based Open Licensing system, which requires a reliable internet connection in order to communicate with the registration server. Please contact your local network administrator to get the connection issue resolved.
    1. Click Authorize manually and then Continue.
    2. Enter the Serial NumberProduct Key, and Security ID. Click Authorize.
    3. Open the Software Activation page by either:
      • Clicking the Web hyperlink at the top.
      • Going to activation.bluebeam.com (internet connection required).
    4. Enter the designated information and click Get Authorization Code. Your authorization code will display on the next page.
    5. Enter the code from the browser into the Manual Authorization dialog in Revu.
    6. Click Authorize.

The Revu icon will vanish from the Dock whenever you quit (Command-Q) the application. If you want it to remain in place, reopen the program, secondary-click the icon and select Options > Keep in Dock.

You’re now ready to start using Revu for Mac 2.0!

How to Register Revu® for Mac® 1.0

To register you’ll need your Serial Number and Product Key, which are included in the License Certificate email you received from Bluebeam after purchase. If you’ve lost your License Certificate, please contact License & Registration to request another copy.

Need to install?

Please follow the steps listed below to register Revu for Mac 1.0.

To register Revu for Mac 1.0

  1. Go into the Applications folder and double-click the Revu revu-icon icon. You may be prompted to confirm whether or not you actually want to open the application. Click Open if this happens.

    If a message appears saying “Revu” can’t be opened because it was not downloaded from the Mac App Store, please click here and follow the steps listed to prevent this from happening.

  2. Revu for Mac will open, and you’ll be prompted to enter the Serial Number and Product Key into the Register dialog that appears, and then click Register.

  3. A Finish Registration dialog will open once the process has completed. Click OK.
  4. Click Accept when the License Agreement opens.
  5. Eventually the Welcome to Bluebeam Studio dialog will appear, offering the choice of logging in to Studio with your existing Studio account, creating a new account, or skipping this section altogether.

The Revu for Mac revu-icon icon will vanish from the Dock whenever you quit (Command-Q) the application. If you want it to remain in place, reopen the program, and either right-click or control-click the icon, and then select Options > Keep in Dock.

Now you’ll be able to launch the application by clicking the Revu for Mac icon in the Dock.
