Applies to:
- Revu 21
Adaptive multifactor authentication (MFA) adds an extra verification step to help protect your Bluebeam account. When MFA is required, you must verify your identity after entering your email address and password.
This article explains when adaptive MFA applies, what verification methods are available, and what to do if you cannot complete the verification process.
You'll be asked for a verification code in the following scenarios:
-
When signing in for the first time after creating a Bluebeam account
-
When the system detects suspicious activity during a sign-in attempt
If you leave the MFA setup or verification flow before finishing, you must sign in again and complete the required steps before you can access your Bluebeam account.
Requirements
Adaptive MFA applies to new users who create a Bluebeam account through the Bluebeam webstore, are added as new users in Org Admin, sign up for a free trial, or go through any account creation flow.
Users who sign in with single sign-on (SSO) or SCIM are not included in this MFA flow. Adaptive MFA will not apply to existing Bluebeam users.
