Bluebeam release stages

To ensure we deliver high-quality experiences while giving you early access to our latest technology, features may be released in different stages: Beta, Limited Release, Preview, and General Availability.

Access to features in any release stage depends on your Bluebeam subscription plan.

Beta

The Beta program is a formal program run by Bluebeam that users must apply for and be accepted into. Beta users have early access to new features not yet included in Limited Release, Preview, or General Availability stages, and users have the opportunity to provide feedback on those unreleased features. To learn more or to join the Beta program, click here.

  • Access: Limited to accepted applicants.

  • Support: Managed through a dedicated feedback channel rather than Bluebeam Technical Support.

  • Purpose: To test unreleased features and provide direct feedback to the product team.

Limited Release

Product features in a Limited Release are fully functional but restricted to specific regions or user segments.

  • Access: Available to all users within designated regions or user segments.

  • Support: Fully supported by Bluebeam Technical Support.

  • Purpose: To evaluate regional performance before rolling out to General Availability, or to provide features with region-specific or user segment constraints.

Preview

Product features in Preview are available to users before being finalized. These features are functional, but users may experience longer load times or occasional issues as Bluebeam continues to refine the experience. While we actively work on these features, the experience is subject to change without prior notice. We value user input and appreciate your feedback on new features in Preview.

  • Access: Available to all users (availability may be limited to specific regions or user segments).

  • Support: Fully supported by Bluebeam Technical Support, and user feedback may be collected directly through in-product notifications.

  • Purpose: To give users early access to upcoming tools while the experience is being refined.

General Availability

Product features in General Availability are production-ready and available to all users.

  • Access: Available to all users in all regions.

  • Support: Fully supported by Bluebeam Technical Support.

  • Purpose: Official production-ready releases.
