Error: “The media name selected could not be found on the HDI postscript printer PC3 file”

Problem

The following error message appears when creating a PDF from AutoCAD:

“The media name selected could not be found on the HDI Postscript printer PC3 file.”

Solution

To resolve the issue, rebuild the AutoCAD Pages Sizes using the Bluebeam Administrator and reinstall the Bluebeam PDF printer:

1. Exit AutoCAD, if it’s open.
2. In Revu, go to Revu > Administrator .
3. Click the AutoCAD Page Sizes tab.
4. Click Clear and then Rebuild.
5. Click the Printer tab.
6. Click the Reinstall Printer button, if the printer isn’t installed.
7. Click the Plugins tab.
8. Uncheck the AutoCAD check box and click Apply.
9. Check the AutoCAD box and click OK.
