Add measurements in Bluebeam on the web

Bluebeam on the web allows you to add basic measurement markups to your documents directly from the web. The following measurement tools are currently available in Documents and Studio Sessions and Projects for the web:
- Length Measurement
- Area Measurement
- Polylength Measurement
- Count Tool (available only in Core or Complete subscriptions)
Information regarding any measurement markups added to the document can be found in the Markups panel. Any markups created using the measurement tools in web Sessions will appear in Revu.
Length Measurement
Calculates a singular linear measurement. To add length measurement:
- Open a document that has a set scale.
- Select the
measurement icon.
- Select two points on the document to calculate and add the length measurement.
To customize or remove the measurement markup, do the following:
- Drag your pointer over the markup you wish to customize or remove.
- Customize the following properties, as needed:
- Line Color
- Line Width
- Line Style
- Line Opacity
- Line Start
- Line End
To remove markup, right-click and select Delete.
Area Measurement
Calculates the area of a simple rectangle or of an irregular, polygonal shape. To add area measurement:
- Open a document that has a set scale.
- Select and hold the
measurement icon.
- Select
Area Measurement.
- Drag to create a simple rectangle to add the area measurement. Select individual vertices to create a non-rectangular shaped measurement.
To customize or remove the measurement markup, do the following:
- Drag your pointer over the markup you wish to customize or remove.
- Customize the following properties, as needed:
- Line Color
- Line Width
- Line Style
- Line Opacity
- Fill Color
- Fill Opacity
To remove markup, right-click and select Delete.
Polylength Measurement
Calculates a multiple, linear measurement. To add polylength measurement:
- Open a document that has a set scale.
- Select and hold the
measurement icon.
- Select
Polylength Measurement.
- Select the points of your measurement, then double-click to complete the markup. Unlike area measurements, polylength measurements always remain as open shapes—even if you connect their start and end points.
To customize or remove the measurement markup, do the following:
- Drag your pointer over the markup you wish to customize or remove.
- Customize the following properties, as needed:
- Line Color
- Line Width
- Line Style
- Line Opacity
To remove markup, right-click and select Delete.
Count Tool
Places a markup for each mouse click, associating a running total of counts with each markup as it is placed. To add count:
- Open a document that has a set scale.
- Select and hold the
measurement icon.
- Select
Count.
- Select anywhere in the document to add count.
- Press ESC when finished.
To customize or remove the measurement markup, do the following:
- Drag your pointer over the markup you wish to customize or remove.
- Customize the following properties, as needed:
- Fill Color
- Fill Opacity
- Count Style
To remove markup, right-click and select Delete.
