In Revu 21.9 and later, convert or duplicate existing markups to different markup types using the Convert to or Duplicate as tool.

  • Use the Convert to tool to replace the selected markup with a different markup of the same size.

  • Use the Duplicate as tool to create a separate, different markup that's the same size as the selected markup.

To create a smaller or larger offset copy of a markup, or to offset as a different markup type, see Offset a markup.

To convert or duplicate a markup to a different markup type, do one of the following:

  • Right-click an existing markup or multiple markups, select Convert to or Duplicate as, and then select the new markup type. This method is useful when converting or duplicating one or more markups at once.

  • From the Tools menu or Tool Chest, select the markup type to convert or duplicate an existing markup to, hold down Ctrl (to convert) or Ctrl+Alt (to duplicate), and select the existing markup. This method is useful when converting or duplicating one or more markups individually.

When converting or duplicating to a measurement markup, if the scale of your drawing is not calibrated, you will be prompted to set the page scale.

Only Closedcertain markups can be converted or duplicated to a different markup type.
