How to add a watermark to your PDFs
Applies to:
- Revu 21
- Revu 20
You can quickly add watermarks to your PDF by creating and flattening a custom stamp. When you flatten a stamp, it becomes part of the document itself—making it permanent and uneditable.
Create a logo watermark
You first need to create a custom stamp with your logo before adding it as a watermark.
- Go to Tools >
Stamp > Create Stamp.
- Set the opacity to 30% and leave the Template field as Blank (none).
- Select OK.
Revu creates your stamp and automatically opens it in a new tab.
- Go to Tools > Markup > Image >
From File and select your logo file.
- Click inside the stamp outline to set the image.
- Resize your image by dragging the handles around the box.
- Save your stamp by going to File > Save As and giving it a name.
Apply a watermark to multiple pages and documents
You can quickly add your watermark to several pages or documents at once.
- Go to Batch >
Apply Stamp....
- Add your files by selecting Add for individual files/folders or Load... for a saved batch. Open PDFs and sets are automatically included.
- Choose which pages need the watermark in the Pages dropdown on the right.
- Under Stamp, select your watermark from the dropdown or browse your local drive to find one on your computer.
- Adjust the watermark's appearance (opacity, rotation, position) as needed.
- Under Files, select Save... to save this batch.
- Select OK to apply your watermark.
For complete details on this feature, see Batch Apply Stamp.
