Error creating new contact, error duplicate record | Org Admin

Problem

When you use the Org Admin portal to add an end user to a subscription account, you receive the following message, "Error creating new contact, error duplicate record. Contact already exists."

Solution

If you encounter either of the following errors, the user could be listed in Org Admin as deactivated and must be reactivated.

  • There was a problem processing your request.

  • Error creating new contact, error duplicate record. Contact already exists.

If the user doesn't appear in the list of deactivated users, please contact Technical Support and provide the following:

  • The name and email address of the person you want to add

  • The name of the account to which you're trying to add the person
