Keyboard shortcuts

Use keyboard shortcuts to easily access certain tools and features in Revu. Customize your workspace by editing default shortcuts or exporting and importing your own custom shortcuts.

To open the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog box, go to RevuKeyboard Shortcuts.

Keyboard shortcuts are divided into two groups: Tools and Commands.

  • Tools: Contains functions related to Markups, Measurements, Sketch to Scale, and Forms features
  • Commands: Contains other functions

Search: Search for a tool or command.

Shortcut: Enter the shortcut to assign to the selected function.

  • Reassign: Apply the shortcut to the function .

If the shortcut is already taken or assigned, a message will appear asking whether you'd like to reassign the existing key or change the input for your custom shortcut.

If you input a numerical shortcut, Revu will alert you that it's already reserved. This is because numbers are used as hot keys for anything saved in My Tools in the Tool Chest.

  • Restore Defaults: Revert to the original keyboard shortcuts.

Import: Import an XML file with keyboard shortcuts.

Export: Select one of the following:

  • Settings: Export an XML with keyboard shortcuts.

  • List as .txt: Generate a list of keyboard shortcuts.
