How to transfer your license to a new computer

  • Revu 20

You need to have both your serial number and product key handy to complete this process. They can be found on the License Certificate sent to the license owner from registration@bluebeamops.com. If you’re unable to find your license information, see How to retrieve your Revu product key.

Back up and restore settings

Transfer your license

Before you begin, make sure the source computer you are transferring from has a stable internet connection.

On the source computer

  1. Open Revu.
  2. Go to Revu > Unregister.
  3. Close Revu.

To uninstall Revu and the OCR module, see Microsoft's page about uninstalling apps and programs from Windows.

On the destination computer

If Revu is already installed on your new computers

  1. Open Revu.
  2. Go to RevuRegister.
  3. Enter your serial number and product key from your License Certificate.
  4. Select Register.

If Revu is not yet installed on your computer

  1. Download Revu.

    Make sure you download the same version listed in your License Certificate.

  2. Run the installer.

  3. Enter your serial number and product key when prompted.

You may need to restart Windows before relaunching Revu. Save your work and close any running applications before you restart.
