Settings that control the output of files from Word can be found on the General Settings tab of the Bluebeam Conversion Settings dialog box. To access them:
From this screen, you can create PDFs, set the general settings, define how certain elements are transferred into the PDF, set the default print quality, and set the page range.
Prompt for Filename: When enabled, the Save As dialog box appears at the time the file is created. If unchecked, [filename].pdf will be created in the default directory defined under Folder Options....
Show Results in Viewer: When enabled, the default graphic file viewer is started once the file has been created.
Delete Temporary Postscript Files: When enabled, temporary Postscript files are deleted after the output file has been created.
Format Hidden Paragraphs: When enabled, corrects for formatting errors that might be presented by hidden paragraphs in the Word document.
Folder Options: Opens the Folder Options dialog box, which allows you to configure the default output folder selection.
Hyperlinks: Enable to transfer hyperlinks to the output file (hyperlink text will be transferred either way).
File Properties: Enable to transfer file properties data to the output file.
Bookmarks: Check this box to create bookmarks using either Table of Contents (any TOCs found within the Word document), or Headings. If Headings is selected, the depth of Headings (down to Heading 9) can also be configured.
Form Fields: Enable to convert form fields, such as check boxes, text fields, and radio buttons, found in the Word document into similar form fields the PDF. Some field properties may also be converted, when available.
Image: Defines the resolution setting for images included in the output file. A larger number in dots-per-inch (dpi) will result in a higher quality image; however, a larger output file will result.
Advanced: Click to adjust default save settings such as file format type, anti-aliasing, image compression, resolution, and line merge. See Default Save Settings for more information.
All: Select to create an output file consisting of the entire document.
Current Page: Select to create an output file of just the current page.
Pages: Select to create an output file consisting of the pages listed (for example, "1-3, 6" will print pages 1, 2, 3, and 6). Note that for multi-section documents where page numbering is restarted in each section, entering just "1" would result in multiple pages printing. To resolve this, either use pXsX notation (i.e., p1s2 for page 1 of section 2), or check Absolute page number(s) and use the global page number shown in the bottom left of the Word interface.
Markup: Whether or not to print markups in the document. Use Default will use the setting defined in Word. Print with Markup will always print the markups. Hide Markup will always hide markups.
