Reinstalling Revu

This article applies to:

  • Revu 20 & below

If you need to reinstall Bluebeam Revu for any reason, such as a computer crash or a new operating system, the first thing you should do is find the license certificate that was sent to the license owner’s email from registration@bluebeamops.com. You’ll need the serial and product key to complete the registration.

If you’re unable to find your license information, see Find your Revu product key.

Reinstalling the Software

Please refer to the Bluebeam Revu Compatibility Chart to confirm that the version of Bluebeam Revu you want to install is compatible with the operating system and associated software on your machine.

Make sure you only download and install the edition and version number listed on your license certicate.
  1. Reinstall Revu by downloading the version and edition listed in your license certificate.
Save the installation file to your hard drive, and then double-click it to install the software. See the Revu Installation Guide if you need any assistance installing the software.
  2. Register the software using the serial number and product key listed in your license certificate.

If you cannot unregister your previous device

If you receive an error stating that the number of authorized installations has been exceeded, or, if your computer has crashed, been re-imaged or reformatted — thus preventing you from unregistering — you will need to contact us to have the seat released. Please submit a support ticket by following the steps below, as we will not be able to handle this request over the phone.

  1. Go to Questions About Licensing and navigate to the bottom of the page.
  2. Select Get in Touch.
  3. Enter your name and email.
The email address given must correspond to an email address listed as a contact for your license.
  4. Under Comments, copy the template below and paste it into the box. Be sure to include your computer name, serial number, and a brief explanation of why you need the seat released.
