Pages rotate at random when printing from Revit to the Bluebeam PDF Printer.
Cause
As printed sheets begin to open in Revu, Revu temporarily becomes the active printer application. This changes the document’s orientation settings and causes it to rotate.
Solution
Revu CAD or Revu eXtreme
Printing via the Bluebeam plugin resolves the issue. Begin by ensuring the Bluebeam plugin is enabled:
Close Revit.
Open the Bluebeam Administrator.
Go to Revu > Administrator
In Windows, select Start and enter Bluebeam Administrator. Select Enter.
Go to the Plugins tab, and select the appropriate checkbox for your software.
Select OK.
Next, print your PDF via the Bluebeam Plugin:
Open Revit.
Go to the Add-Ins tab.
Under the Bluebeam Add-Ins panel, select Create PDF . The Save As dialog box appears.
Name the file and save it to your desired location.
Select Save. Revu opens displaying your newly generated PDF.
Revu Standard
Clearing the Open in Viewer printer option resolves the issue. To do this:
Open the Bluebeam Administrator
Go to Revu > Administrator
In Windows, select Start and enter Bluebeam Administrator. Select Enter.
Go to the Printer tab, and clear the Open In Viewer checkbox.
Select OK.
Your pages should no longer rotate when printing to the Bluebeam PDF Printer.
