Using an older version of Revu?

Problem

When you open the Bluebeam Administrator in Revu 21, plugins are grayed out and can’t be selected.

Causes

In Revu 21, the use of plugins requires a Core subscription, a Complete subscription, or an active trial. Your plugins may be grayed out because:

  • Your computer has applications that are compatible with Revu plugins, such as AutoCAD or Revit, but you have a Read-only or Basics account.
  • Your trial of Revu 21 has expired.

Solution

First, confirm which subscription plan you have access to:

  1. Open Revu 21.
  2. When prompted, sign in with your Bluebeam ID (BBID).
  3. Select your email address next to the Revu icon in the upper right corner to view your account information.

If you have a Read-only or Basics account, reach out to your Org Admin (i.e., license owner and/or IT dept.) to request Core/Complete access. Org Admins can modify subscription access via the Bluebeam Subscription Management Portal. For Core or Complete subscribers experiencing this issue, please contact us.
