Working with Bookmarks
Open the Bookmarks panel to work with bookmarks.
There are several ways to add bookmarks to a document manually. By default, these bookmarks link to the current view of the page that is active in the main workspace at the time of their creation. Once you are on the desired page and view, use any of the following methods to create your bookmark:
- Click Add Bookmark on the Bookmarks panel toolbar. If an existing bookmark is selected, the new bookmark is automatically added below it. If no bookmark is selected, the new bookmark is automatically added to the end of the current bookmarks list.
CTRL-click any bookmark and select the appropriate option:
- Add Bookmark: The new bookmark is added to the same hierarchical level as the selected bookmark.
- Add Child
Bookmark: The new bookmark is added as a child of the selected bookmark.
When a bookmark is added manually, it is automatically named after the page's label.
To delete a bookmark, CTRL-click it and select Delete Bookmark.
Bookmark Properties determines it appearance in the Bookmarks list. To change a bookmark's Properties:
- Go to Window > Panels > Bookmarks or press ALT+B to open the Bookmarks panel.
CTRL-clickthe desired bookmark and click Properties. The Bookmark Properties dialog box appears.
Hold down SHIFT or CTRL to select multiple bookmarks before right-clicking and selecting Properties to define properties for several bookmarks at the same time. Any properties you define will apply to all of them.
- Make the desired changes and click OK.
To rename a bookmark, double-click it.
